For over three decades, The Duke Belaire Jazz Orchestra held court every Monday night at the beloved Bovi’s Tavern in East Providence. Their weekly residency became a local tradition — a gathering place for music lovers, dancers, and anyone who appreciated the timeless sound of a full big band in motion. Now, with The New Providence Big Band’s monthly residency at The CV Club, that legacy of Monday night swing lives on.
