Freshly baked and perfectly balanced, it combines just the right amount of cinnamon with tasty apple filling, all topped with just the right amount of icing. Best of all, it’s easy to enjoy as a hand-held treat — indulgent, but not messy.
My wife opted for The Nerdy Baker’s take on the fall favorite, the Apple Cider Donut. Normally, we save these treats for stops at orchards that specialize in seasonal donuts, but this one more than held its own. Bursting with fresh, natural apple flavor, airy in texture, and not a hint of greasiness, it was another outstanding choice — a perfect complement to our tasty autumn Sunday adventure.
