EastProv Hospitality is excited to share an update on the forthcoming arrival of Society Coffee Bar in East Providence. The highly anticipated coffee bar will be located at 500 North Broadway and will become the brand’s fourth location and first in Rhode Island, following successful openings in Taunton, Somerset, and New Bedford since launching in 2022.
Owners Keith and Debra Viveiros are excited to have chosen East Providence for their most recent expansion and to introduce the Society Coffee Bar experience to Rhode Island for the first time. Keith Viveiros told EastProv Hospitality that they are hoping to open in early March, pending final construction milestones, inspections, and approvals.
“We’re proud to be planting roots in East Providence and grateful for the support from the local community already,” Viveiros added.
At Society Coffee Bar, coffee is more than a daily routine—it’s a personalized experience. Each barista is trained to craft exceptional, handcrafted coffee tailored to individual tastes. From bold, classic espressos to thoughtfully created signature lattes, every cup is designed to be enjoyed exactly the way each guest prefers.
Beyond the coffee, Society Coffee Bar is known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere—an inviting space to meet friends, get some work done, or simply relax with a great cup of coffee. The North Broadway location is poised to become a neighborhood favorite and a welcome addition to East Providence’s growing local business scene.
Stay tuned for opening updates from EastProv Hospitality and get ready to enjoy one of Massachusetts’ favorite independent cafés as Society Coffee Bar makes its way into Rhode Island.
