EastProv Hospitality is thrilled to spread the word about a night where laughter truly makes a difference.
Join us at the Comedy Connection on Saturday, March 7th at 3:00 PM, for “Punchlines for a Purpose,” an adults-only stand-up comedy night benefiting the EPBGC’s Townie Clubhouse Theatre Company—a program that empowers young performers across the East Providence School District.
Get ready for an unforgettable evening of big laughs, sharp punchlines, and talented local comedians taking the stage at the iconic Comedy Connection. While the laughs are guaranteed, this night is about more than comedy—it’s about community, creativity, and giving kids the opportunity to shine.
Every dollar raised directly supports hundreds of children involved in the Townie Clubhouse Theatre Company. Your support helps provide:
Tuition assistance and scholarships
Costumes, sets, and props
Access to high-quality theatre experiences
Meaningful creative opportunities for over 100 aspiring actors and theatre-loving Club kids
Together, we’re ensuring that cost is never a barrier to creativity, confidence, or the joy of performing on stage. Programs like this don’t just build performers—they build self-esteem, teamwork, and lifelong memories.
This is laughter with heart, comedy with a mission, and a night that proves supporting local youth has never been this fun.
Come out, enjoy the show, and help give kids the stage they deserve.
East Providence—this is one event you’ll feel great laughing at.
