The Palagis Ice Cream Summer Music Series is excited to announce a new community partnership for its 2026 season with the Friends of Pawtucket Animal Shelter.
The 2026 series will begin Wednesday, June 17, and run weekly through Wednesday, August 26.
Now in its fourth season, the Palagis Ice Cream Summer Music Series continues as a free, family-friendly summer event featuring live music, community gathering, and family-friendly pricing on frozen treats, while expanding its community engagement through a partnership with the Friends of Pawtucket Animal Shelter.
The weekly Wednesday series will feature live outdoor performances at the Palagis Ice Cream Shack outdoor pavilion, 55 Bacon Street, Pawtucket, RI. from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., weather permitting, where each event offers live music, ice cream, and Palagis’ famous frozen lemonade, along with information about the Friends of Pawtucket Animal Shelter and its work in the community.
This season’s lineup includes Joshua David & The Green River Band, a tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival, Counterfeit Cash, a tribute to Johnny Cash featuring Rodney Brunelle, Attleboro School of Rock, The Berger Boys, children’s entertainer Keith Munslow, Take Two featuring Katie Estrella & Karson Kayarian, The Sharing Room featuring Hap Hathaway & Keturah Burgess, and many more.
Through the partnership, each event will include efforts to raise awareness for adoptable animals, promote volunteer opportunities, and support a weekly pet food drive benefiting the Friends of Pawtucket Animal Shelter’s pet food pantry.
“What makes this season unique is the natural connection between two nights of live music in Pawtucket, RI. Our Wednesday series at Palagis Ice Cream directly supports the Friends of Pawtucket Animal Shelter, while just one night later, Slater Memorial Park—home to one of the city’s most popular music traditions—is also the physical location of the Pawtucket Animal Shelter itself,” said Gary Santos, producer of the Palagis Ice Cream Summer Music Series.
