East Providence’s beloved Dambo Troll is turning one, and everyone is invited to the party!
EastProv Hospitality is joining our friends at the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council on Sunday, August 23, for a special birthday celebration for Mrs. Skipper at Kettle Point Pier.
Mrs. Skipper’s official birthday is August 24, 2026, but we’re celebrating a day early with the community — and we’re inviting her many fans from near and far to join us!
Come gather on the pier, sing Happy Birthday to Mrs. Skipper, take photos and enjoy the beautiful Providence River waterfront. Bring the family, bring your friends and bring your camera. Everyone is welcome!
📍 Finding Mrs. Skipper
Mrs. Skipper lives on a rocky outcrop along the Providence River, just a short walk from the East Bay Bike Path.
If you’re driving, use University Orthopedics, One Kettle Point Drive, as your landmark. There is a parking lot behind the building.
From there, walk or ride to the East Bay Bike Path, turn left and follow the signs to Mrs. Skipper and Kettle Point Pier.
