A free afternoon of Halloween fun, treats, music, raffles, and community spirit is coming to East Providence!
Joe’s Clam Shack is getting into the Halloween spirit with its 1st Annual Trunk Or Treat, taking place Saturday, October 24, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Crescent Park.
The free family event will feature creatively decorated trunks handing out treats and fun trinkets, raffles, and plenty of Halloween fun. Some trunks may be a little spooky, but it’s all in good fun! Music provided by DJ Anthony Medeiros!
Thanks to the many local businesses and community members already volunteering to participate, families can expect plenty of trunks to visit as they make their way through the event.
Celebrating a Successful First Season
The Trunk Or Treat comes toward the end of a successful first season for Joe’s Clam Shack as the proud concessionaire of Crescent Park.
Located at 684 Bullocks Point Avenue in Riverside, Joe’s is just steps from the historic Looff Carousel, making it a familiar stop for residents and visitors enjoying one of East Providence’s most iconic destinations.
With tremendous support from the community throughout its first season, Joe’s Clam Shack has enjoyed a successful year—and the Trunk Or Treat is one way the business is giving back and saying thank you.
It’s also a chance to celebrate that success with the families, businesses, and neighbors who helped make the first season such a good one.
Something for the Whole Family
Of course, there will be plenty of food available throughout the event. Kids can enjoy favorites from Joe’s Kids’ Fun Menu, including hot dogs, burgers, chicken tenders, dough boys, and more, while adults can enjoy some of Joe’s other menu favorites.
With music playing, treats being handed out, raffles happening, and local businesses coming together, the afternoon is shaping up to be a fun way to celebrate Halloween and the East Providence community.
Want to Join the Fun?
Joe’s Clam Shack is still accepting volunteers who would like to participate as a Trunk Participant. Local businesses, organizations, families, and individuals are welcome to decorate a trunk, hand out treats, and be part of the afternoon.
