Located at 227 Warren Avenue, Café Alma brings a fresh New England Portuguese approach to the local dining scene, combining Portuguese traditions with the culinary vision of Chef Kevin Matos.
By morning, Café Alma is busy serving up fresh pastries, breakfast sandwiches, specialty coffees, and flavored lattes inspired by signature treats like Bolacha Maria, Pastel de Nata, and Crème Brûlée, just to name a few. As the day moves into the afternoon, the café shifts into lunch with Portuguese-inspired favorites including Bifana, Prego, Piri Piri Chicken Sandwiches, and Pastéis de Bacalhau, along with daily specials.
Every Friday and Saturday evening, Café Alma stays open late, offering creative cocktails, Portuguese wines, small plates, and dinner specials in a smaller, intimate bistro setting — a relaxed alternative to the crowded, louder late-night scene.
As a young business that opened its doors in February, Café Alma is constantly evolving, and EastProv Hospitality will be there to keep you up to date on what’s happening at the café, from new menu items and special offerings to upcoming events and entertainment.
