Rhode Island-based Beyond Gravity, a band with deep East Providence roots, is making waves with their latest single, “You Are You Are.” Released in the fall of 2025, the track has been steadily gaining attention for its emotional honesty, polished musicianship, and catchy rock energy.
Frontman Dustin Oerman, a Rumford resident, leads the band alongside East Providence natives Eddy DeMelo (guitar/vocals) and Matt Dionne (bass), with Mike Brodeur on drums rounding out the New England lineup. Together, they deliver a sound that’s focused, tight, and compelling.
Recorded in Dighton, MA, “You Are You Are” features a dynamic rhythm section, layered guitar textures, and Oerman’s heartfelt vocals telling a story of love and loss. Its clarity and energy make it a track that resonates both locally and beyond. RILiveMusic spotlights ‘You Are You Are’ as a “flawless single with crossover appeal that keeps you craving more.” See the full article here: “Beyond Gravity” Elevates Its Sound with Latest Single, “You Are You Are”
